Patrick Paddy Mitchell
A prominent footballer for the club, Wicklow born Paddy
Mitchell was a medical orderly in the G.P.O during Easter
Week 1916.
A bricklayer by trade he had transferred to O'Tooles from
Geraldines in 1913.
He went on to become our club delegate to the County
Board but was best known as one of Dublin's most favored
and respected referees during this period.
He was also part of our successful Intermediate Football
Championship-winning side of 1916.
