Hi all,

Great to be back up and running and there is a real buzz round the club now that everyone is back training. It’s great to see so many familiar and new faces around the place. No doubt we can look forward to an active and busy 2022.

We would like to take this opportunity to update you across several areas within the club.

Facilities:

We have begun refurbishing the upstairs lounge toilets and downstairs ladies changing room toilets

The main floor area of the bar is also under refurbishment and new carpet will be laid in the hall, office and stairs

These works will happen over the next few weeks so please bear with us as some facilities may not be fully operational at certain times.

Coffee Dock:

We will have a new mobile coffee cart on site serving teas, coffees and hot and cold food. The Buddy Cup is up and running across a few areas in the location and we look forward to welcoming them to the club in the very near future

New Club App:

We have been working on a pilot for a new club app and we are delighted to announce that we will be moving to a new platform supported by Clubzapp. This app can be downloaded to your phone, laptop or mobile device and it will allow us to engage and communicate with all our members as well as simplifying the process of payment collection for membership and fundraising via the online payment platform. We will be rolling out this app over the next couple of weeks

Child Protection Officer:

Special thanks to Ciara Finlay who has taken on the role of Child Protection Officer. We would like to wish her the very best in this role for 2022

Women’s Aid:

Special mention to congratulate all who took part in the memorial walk/run to remember Ashling Murphy on her months mind. In support of Women’s Aid a very worthy charity, well done to all involved

Lidl Plus – LGFA Stamp Card Reward Scheme:

The Lidl LGFA club rewards scheme provides every club with the opportunity to arise €20,000 in funding by using the Lidl app when you shop in store. Rewards begin with a set of jerseys for clubs that collect 50 stamp cards and go right up to €5,000 in cash funding for 500 or more completed stamp cards. In addition, the club in each province that collects the most stamp cards overall will win a top prize of prize of €20,000

How do I do this:

1. Since Monday 7th February you can download/open the Lidl Plus app and opt into the scheme

2. Select the club you want to support by following the prompts on the app – Select O’Tooles

3. Spend over €30 in store and scan your Lidl Plus card to earn a stamp (over €60 = 2 stamps, over €90 = 3 stamps etc)

4. Collect 6 stamps and submit your completed card by Sunday March 27th 2022

(There is no limit to the amount of completed stamp cards per customer)

O’Neills GAA On Line Shop:

There is a full range of club gear available at www.oneills.com – if there is an item that you do not see on the club shop but would like included please email your request to pro.otooles.dublin@gaa.ie and we will work with O’Neills to incorporate it on our site. For every item purchased the club receives a commission of 15% directly payable on an annual basis to the club

Finally, this weekend sees the return of the adult teams on the field, we would ask you to come along and show your support and please remember to spread the word and encourage family and friends to come along and support our Little Larriers Nursery which is on every Saturday from 9.45am – 11am for all children aged 4-7 years of age.
