it's with a heavy heart that we tell you of the recent passing of Con Clarke. Con was part of the 1950 resurgence in underage football, helping O'Toole's win the Championship and the South City league. He also played in the final on the losing hurling team that year. Con went on to play many a game since those days.
Since hanging up his boots Con was a stalwart supporter, a life member and an O'Toole's trustee. He was also our Dublin County Board football delegate. We will forever be grateful for the hours Con gave to his beloved GAA Club.
We wish to offer his wife Teresa, his children, grandchildren and the greater Clarke family our heartfelt sympathy on you loss.
Clarke, Con, 11th February 2025, (Raheny and formerly of Coburg Place, Seville Place), Retired from Aer Lingus. Also of O’Toole’s GAA Club, Dublin GAA and The Raheny Business Association. (Peacefully), surrounded by his loving family in the wonderful care of the staff at Beaumont Hospital. Beloved wife of Teresa and loving father of Niall, Catherine, Gerard, Niamh, Emer and Declan. Very sadly missed by his wife, sons, daughters, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren, Kevin, Stephen, Julie, Adam, Avril, Lindsay, Conor, Robbie, Katie and Caoímhe, great grandchild Ivy, sisters Bernie, Cora and Maureen, nephews, nieces, extended family, friends and neighbours.
