Our Senior Ladies team came away with a draw against Templeogue Synge Street 1-7 to 1-7.

On a very cold and windy evening away from home.

It was a game of 2 halves. Playing against a very strong wind in the first half, the team put a huge effort in to contain the play and creating scores. The second half, they prevented the opposition from scoring, chipped away at their lead, getting level and going close to winning it.

Everyone stood up to the challenge and our defence was solid throughout the game, absorbing a lot of pressure in the 1st half and towards the end of the game, the movement from backs to forwards was seemless, finishing off with some great scores.

A special shout out to Louise Kane, who stepped into goal this evening, pulling off some excellent saves and starting play with great kickouts.

Once again, a huge thank you to our minor girls for coming out tonight and playing a huge part in the game 🫶
