It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing of Doreen O'Dowda (nee Synnott). Doreen was an indomitable woman, interested in all sports, steeped in the GAA, a lifetime supporter of Dublin GAA and a lifetime member of O'Toole’s, which wasn’t surprising as generations of her family gave sterling service to club and county over the past century. Doreen was a stalwart of this club for many years and was deeply involved in the programme sales in both Croke Park & Aviva. For her service to O’Toole’s, she was made a life member many years ago and continued to serve the club until recently. Despite her failing health, her interest in O’Toole’s never waned and she was interested in club activities until her death today.
